this is assuming you are self-employed. if you are an employee, taxes are already taken out of your pay cheque, you just need to file your income

average american earns like 40k/yr so dont worry about your miniscule tax bill. they will put a tab on your file & 100% know but gov't spends more time doing other **** and they have up to 6+ years to track you down, and believe me, they always get their taxes lol

Prioritize paying your taxes over nearly anything else. Lawyer up and negotiate with the IRA if you have to space out the payments. Do not fuk around with taxes - many very wealthy people have found their way into a prison cell over this.

Lmao so I owed like a couple cents more on my taxes one year some kind of with holding interest error. Any way I tried multiple times to play it off the entire amount but since it has accrued interest it never got paid off until I paid over the amount lmao. But that didn’t stop them from sending me multiple invoices multiple times a year for a couple cents lol.

I filed my federal taxes and forgot to put my investment earnings in my filing. Am I ****ed? I sincerely forgot I had investments and just rushed through a free tax service. I haven’t sent in my state return yet. I’m gonna do that one slow and properly

There is a way out op

1. Get a good tan
2. Learn Spanish and start pretending you don't understand English
3. Destroy any forms of ID you have
4. Do whatever you want without consequences because you are now an illegal immigrant and rules no longer apply to you.

Your $2000 tax bill will balloon to $10000 and you will pay it or go to prison. And if you ever get out of prison they'll wage garnish you for the rest of your life.

i didn't file for three years while working as an independent contractor...then i became a border patrol agent and Internal Affairs showed up asking why my taxes weren't being paid...so I had to resign and it fuucked my law enforcement career up.

Worked out in the end, I make double the money now but at the time i thought my shiit was fuucked forever.

Pay your ****, bro.
