If you won the lottery would you tell anyone
Say roughly $50M
Including family members or would you keep it a secret, EVERYONE would want a slice.

Say it's £5m, I would tell people i'd won say £1.5m, then give my Sis and her family 250k, my parents 250k, and put £1m into a joint account for my wife, daughter and I.
The remaining £3m would be kept secret from everybody, and used to buy a second house etc. I'd keep that as "new life" backup plan if things go tits up in my current life.
You could quit your job, and then just go off to your new house and do whatever the **** you wanted from 9-5, then come home and live your norma life. Just swim in your private pool, play video games, lift weights, whatever the **** you wanted.

Wouldn't tell a soul. Wouldn't even move house or quit my job, srs.
Would just clear my mortgage and daughters student loan (without telling her) and buy a bunch of investment properties for that passive income and tax free capital gains.

But I would tell a estate lawyer to write up a trust for when I die for my step kids

No I wouldn't tell anyone.
I'd buy a small business like a local gym or something and let people think that was my source of income, they don't need to know that it's not being funded by a massive bank loan etc.
I wouldn't go buying mansions or anything like that, I'd just have a decently nice house and car and I wouldn't buy that **** straight away.

Nope. I’d set up accounts for my loved ones and have couriers on behalf of my attorney deliver the account details. Then I’d be done...move to another part of the world and start a business.
