It wasnt rushed. mRNA vaccine technology was already in the works. This was a good time to roll it out because its way easier/faster to make mRNA than it is to make deactivated viruses.

Not exactly true. They have been trying to make MRNA vaccine's safe for humans for 30 years. It just happened to become "safe" in 2020....
