Aware me on antivirus stuff

Finally got a decent PC for video editing and general use.

Bought it wiped with fresh windows. Its a gaming computer.

Do I have to worry about viruses and chit?


Not a techie at all, so try and keep the computer lingo to two or three syllables

get something free. just lol if you pay for something that slows down your computer running unnecessary things 24/7

I would recommend getting panda or kaspersky.

If you have very sensitive info that can affect a lot of people, you will need very strong antivirus programs for your small business or even more. But for regular browsing and gaming, windows default antivirus should be enough.

I figured windows had their own stuff, but wasnt sure.

I have nothing to steal anyone would want. I wont be doing my banking on that PC I dont think.

If you use common sense and don't pirate a lot of chit you're pretty much gtg without one.

You can scan with Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner from time to time just to be safe.
