Is it worth it to get your car professionally detailed?
I usually do it myself but a buddy of mine got it done recently and the outside looks better than what I’ve been doing.
Interior is about the same as mine only thing is he got the engine bay cleaned as well.
Edit: mod can you please move this to the auto section

Depends on how bad your car is how much money you got and how much time you have. I’ve hand washed my cars since my first time buying a car over 60k 2 years ago. 100$ at autozone for cleaning supplies goes a long way and you learn how to respect your car

We have an auto section? Should be collapsed into misc to get traffic up.
IDK about how hard you're detailing but I'd rather pay some kid to do it while I go do something else. If they're good - and they usually will be if they know you tip well - then it's win win.

I pay my dude $150 and he brings it inside with his lights and does the full works even hits the interior nicely
I purposely put a little grime inside my seatbelt holder and it was gone after he went through it
Dude is legit

I have ceramic coating so automatic car washes with brushes are a no-no. I pay for a mobile detailing service about every month or so and while it is expensive you can't argue the results.
If I had a place that I could store equipment I would probably rotate washing myself and paying for detailing.
