How to know if a website is a scam or not

This new laptop , supposedly being sold for $98

It is worth much more. They took a PayPal payment. Can dispute anytime.
How is this possible? What is life? Why is the website active if it is a scam?

How can I get more info on it?

that's the most scammiest looking website ive ever seent lol

and lol @ thinking paypal just blanket protects you

paypal doesn't always side with the buyer. as long as the seller sends a tracking number that's legit (they could literally ship out anything), then paypal will side with the seller more often than not

most of these scams use compromised paypal accounts anyway so they quickly withdraw the money and let whoever owns the paypal account get fuked

Last time I needed PayPal they didn't do anything. I had to use my bank.

I will see what happens. Let's just say that I don't care about the $98 and I want to see where all this goes. Curiosity killed the cat.
I can easily make PayPal side with me or do a chargeback. Not so hard really.
