Misc I'm Getting the J&J Vaccine Tomorrow

Followed immediately by getting on to a plane to the LA area then driving to Phoenix for the week.

How much am I going to hate myself tomorrow and the next day?

Won't likely have any reaction the day of the inoculation. The following day might be a bit uncomfortable though.

That's preferable. Sounds like it might be a rough night though from the stories I've seen. Guess the hike the next day will have to wait.

I guess if you stock up on health foods or superfoods, some supplements that will help in aiding your immune system to work overtime as it will against the vaccine, and a lot of water then it will be okay. But driving for hours on end is going to be taxing, should probably stop and move around every hour or so on the road

Wasn't the primary purpose but I am thinking about it. Going to wait and see if ticket prices on stubhub drop a bit. I have a hard time justifying $200 for 2 tickets and then beer at the game.

I’m doing absolutely nothing Thursday and Friday morning. Getting there is my big concern but it’ll be less than 12 hours after getting it until I get there so hope
I drive fast enough.

I went to see one of the best cardiologists in the area because I wanted to rule out a potential blood clot (was having chest pain) and he said less than 1% of the population develops a blood clot from COVID-19. Less than 1% of those infected from COVID-19. I asked him repeatedly too because I could barely believe what I was hearing, I had thought it was a lot more than that but he's the expert. I still will try to find answers through any research (haven't looked into it yet) but this guy's resume was excellent and he helped me out a ton so I just took his word for it at the time. Will need to look into

I think the media and a lot of what we see on social media is what is influencing these notions. But if he's correct, very few will develop such symptoms

That's good bro, I must have misread. As much rest as possible. I think it takes at least 2-3 weeks for your body to develop most of the antibodies. I was reading an article saying that immunity keeps growing though, continually. You will have greater immunity as time goes on. Was saying more immunity in two weeks, more immunity a month after vaccination, even more so after 3 months and six months the article said. So I guess the body keeps working towards protecting itself as time goes on. It was interesting. Kind of makes sense too but I never would have guessed that our immune systems would focus on one response for so long to just one vaccine

Yeah my wife still has to work Thursday and Friday so I was just planning on hiking and hitting the gym. Obviously dependent on how I feel and if my arm falls off from the vaccine but I have no problem relaxing by the screaming kids at the pool if I have to.

Dear misc. diary. Driving up to the vaccination site. I gave a wave to Bill Gates house as I drove past. srs did drive past. Not srs about waiving. Hoping the vaccine at least has 5G instead of that slow azz 4G crap.
