srs - how do you control (without controlling) what they watch? obviously if you tell them not to watch something they're going to want to watch it even more, but 70% of netflix is cucked. How do we raise normal kids? 100% srs

do we just play classics? problem is i know they'll gravitate towards the new chit

I take mine to the cottage. no internet, and limited cell service. We hunt, fish, boating, ATV, snowmobile, swim, hike. usually after a day of outside its supper and bed. Then repeat. when at the house, she does her YouTube crap after homework. But mostly watch something we both decide on if hanging out after supper. She's pretty easy going for 17 years old. I know it could be worse.

let them use youtube, pay for the premium. monitor what they watch, push them toward family friendly stuff that you approve of. block the channels that are ****ty and there ya go. As long as you give them an engaging alternative, they won't seek out ****

They watch whatever they want. Taking an 8 year old to see the joker was uncomfortable and felt wrong. The logic was his older brothers are going to let him watch it anyways when it comes out on dvd :/ idk

as far as what they watch, that will come from their friends, so i try and be a bit more vigilant on who they associate with.

If I decide to have kids, ideally they wouldn't have unrestricted access to technology until they are 18 and can afford it themselves.

They'd also be familiarized with the outdoors, put into combat sports and a team sport from a young age, so they wouldn't have time for pointless tech use.Something like this is good, IMO.

let them play TEAM SPORTS like baseball/football/Basketball (not soccer)

they will be too busy with that and full of test to even be at risk of becoming a SJW soyboy from netflix/amazon/hulu/mass media globohomo programming

they will naturally want to watch alpha things (like ww2 documentaries or something)

Assuming for boys, just do manly stuff with them, they'll be all right. You can't shelter them from everything.

NON winter months, we are always outside together.
Once hes old enough, get him into weights

Once he's old enough to be on the internet, I am going to filter all traffic through my router and just block ****.

Oldest is 4, brought her to movies this past week and the previews were full of interracial woke chit. My brother let his kids watch that Arthur kid show and apparently the teacher is gay now... Every kid show/movie is full of the woke agenda. Definitely is a challenge

I have restrictions on Netflix and they know I can see everything they have watched, or if they have been into my main profile. They know I can see what they do on their computers and phones. I give them a good degree of freedom so when I give them a rule, they generally respect the rule. They can watch anything that's on Disney+ and they probably spend most of their time between that and YouTube. My oldest is 13 and he will ask if he can watch a show or movie if it is TV14 or PG13 and usually I let him. He can watch something that is rated R as long as I've already seen it.

We also spend a lot of time outdoors, so they are fairly well rounded. And we discuss current events, history, and politics to the extent that they can understand. Not raising any liberal soyboys in my house.
