19 year old here. Not Murican tho.
School life was good, enjoyed it a lot.
Sure there's a lot more shut-ins nowadays that play videogames all day but in general we "hang out" as much as any millenial teen did. I never experienced any evidence to the idea that zoomers spend more time indoors than millenials.
Dating was horrendous. You literally can not get a girlfriend outside of parties unless you're 10/10 hot. It is somehow considered "weird" to approach a girl after school and to ask her out on a date. Nowadays 9/10 couples start because they're drunk at parties and hook up. It's funny, because I never went to parties, but the moment I started partying (around age 17-18) I suddenly had like a hookup every single party night. Being the most popular kid at your school helps tbh, but then again I'm not really hot so parties are still the way to go.
Most kids of my age had smartphones starting around age 14, before that we all had like Nokias that were just for communication. To be honest we never really used them a lot, sure outside of school we spent a lot of time on things like ********/insta/youtube but inside of school we rarely did anything on our phones outside of showing a photo or something. This is a stark contrast to all the 13 year olds who were playing fortnite together by the time I left highschool. We seniors kept complaining about the little kids playing on their phones all day lmao.
Education was very, very left leaning. I spent ages 13-16 at a small rural school where politics were never mentioned and education was very unbiased (some obvious right wing teachers, some obviously left wing). But when I went to a bigger city school, tons of my teachers were very outspoken about right wing beliefs. Nearly all of them were ****ting on Trump and right wing parties constantly. Very annoying. I had like two teachers that were very clearly right wing and it was sad to see that they couldn't express their opinions on things because they were obviously scared to do so.
Our generation, especially around ages 18-21, are actually more conservative on average than millenials. We just have a few more left wing extremes "pansexual transgenders" and whatnot, but most other students just ignored them.
School life was good, enjoyed it a lot.

There was a break in my education between 8th and 10th grade where I was homeschooled and this year during covid is my first year back. All I remember is things being a lot more vibrant during Middle school. People still talk and I've found some friends in my gym class but overall people dont really talk to anyone because of Covid.
- Did you guys play a lot outside with friends?
I played a lot with the neighbors kids, Dad wouldn't really let me go to the elementary school playground even though it was .25 mile down the street (our Neighborhood was built right next to the school.)
- How was dating in high school?
I dont know man, I'll get back to you. There's this black chick who asked me if I would sit with her (before I was sitting with other guys) and she's trying to get me to start watching anime. Idk man chit's weird maybe she's laying signals and I'm just not picking them up.

Yeah everyone has phones, I'm getting a phone at the end of the year but other kids had them starting around age 12/13.

To add onto my other points, it seems dating happens in little cliques. There's also this obese kid who has a skinny (7-8/10, 5/10 misc standards) gf and the only reason this happened is because they both watch anime. Aside from the degenerates in school I have no idea how anything works in school, none of the kids I sat with talked about girls or dating. I saw this one kids GF and she was pretty fat (slampig I guess you would say) so I guess if my fellow zoomerbros are stuck with fatties, I get why they dont discuss dating because the actually pretty girls are with Chads. Not even Chads I think, just non-nerdy dudes. I wouldn't consider myself nerdy because I'm not stupid enough to admit to enjoying video games outside of call of duty or talking about hobbies I have, but I am definitely the quiet kid. I've noticed some kids hang around other girls doing the labs for them and then hanging around them after class even though I'm pretty sure that girl has a boyfriend. It's kinda weird, there's a mixture between degenerates, simps, Chads, and Uberchads.

I've never met someone of my age that was goth or emo or whatever. We still have depressed kids, but they're not as cringy about it as millenials were with the whole edgy emo subculture.

Might as well ask me to describe the average American. You can't. But if I had to try: moderate in politics, somewhat left leaning, probably has a small group of friends she spends all her time with. Has an instagram with a few pictures, nothing special.

I wasn't, but nowadays I'm a lot more positive about it seeing the people around me grow up. Zoomers are a lot more realistic in terms of politics compared to Millenials (according to some studies & what I experience), for example on climate change, most of us do realise there's a problem (because we aren't complete *******s that don't believe in science) but we're not like some crazy millenial hippies that want to **** up the entire economy over it. We're talking averages here though, plenty of zoomer climate extremists as well.
Also Zoomers are very much atheist and I personally don't subscribe to a magical man in the sky, but hey, we all have our beliefs.

That's gotta be a US thing, because my year of 200 had like 3 black guys and 3 asians lmao. I'm not racist at all, but it is interesting to note that the amount of black/asians/moroccans is more than tripled when looking at schools with lower levels of education. In my country schools are seperated by level/difficulty and my school was of the highest difficulty (but ZERO cost to enter, school is always free) with a 98% white population.

Reddit has become very mainstream since around 2018. Apart from that, ******** is dead for 80% of zoomers so most of them are on instagram. Tiktok is only used by guys to browse hot chicks.

The cultures are the NPCs now. I can typically tell what my peers believe in and are about just by looking at them. EOD is not wrong about Netflix and working. It’s rampant in my generation.

Either horrible daddy issues and easy to slay (colored hair) or wants to be a nurse and is in a sorority. It is hard to find a good woman as a zoomer but been with a girl I met in my fire department classes for two years.

20% of the U.S dollar in circulation was printed last year and the economy is in shambles, but yes. There are winners in every great issue in history, not someone that is going to whine and moan about the cards I’m dealt. I’ll be just fine.

Dated a few girls that all “showered with friends” or “jokingly kissed a girl before”. I do think women are inherently more bisexual than men though, no basis - just my belief. I didn’t run into too many LGBT though. A handful, really.

No, not really. I have specifically looked if my professors are white males though as academic white males tend to be the most self-hating whiners in existence. I tend to prefer non-white professors simply because their families have typically immigrated quite recently and still understand underneath all of the societal decay is a great nation. I love my South African professor and my Chinese professor, real honest people. I’m white and it seems really just white people in academia constantly bring up race besides the one black dude in my ethics class that went on about how Socrates was a black man.

Internet is a waste of time. I browse Bodybuilding, some specific Reddits (hate Reddit), maybe WoW forums sometimes or other game related forums.

My parents music so dad rock, Fleetwood, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood - whatever, 90s rap (Tupac, Biggie), M.F Doom, generic mumble rap sometimes, lots of EDM - specifically house. I don’t have a select music taste.
- What's something we millenials don't know/understand about you zoomers?
Millennials are too hell bent on career culture. Working your entire life pinching pennies on 8% interest to retire at 60 and die at 65 is a horrible way to live. Millennials are all talk and no action, I genuinely feel horrible for the millennials that convince themselves they are happy working a 9-5 in an ant farm so they can get custom IPAs sometimes. Free yourself. If you work for somebody else you are a cuck - especially the government. Pension and health, give me a break lmao.

I wasn't, but nowadays I'm a lot more positive about it seeing the people around me grow up. Zoomers are a lot more realistic in terms of politics compared to Millenials (according to some studies & what I experience), for example on climate change, most of us do realise there's a problem (because we aren't complete *******s that don't believe in science) but we're not like some crazy millenial hippies that want to **** up the entire economy over it. We're talking averages here though, plenty of zoomer climate extremists as well.
Also Zoomers are very much atheist and I personally don't subscribe to a magical man in the sky, but hey, we all have our beliefs.
- Is it true a lot of zoomers identify as LGBTQXYZ and/or atleast are bisexual?
Not at all, a huge chunk believe all that pronoun stuff is bull****. You have to keep in mind that that was all made up by millenials, not by zoomers. But of course there's lots of zoomers adopting this idea. But in my year of 200+ students there was only a single person that didn't identify as he or she.
- Are whites already a minority in your school? And how is the general sentiment towards whites in your school?
That's gotta be a US thing, because my year of 200 had like 3 black guys and 3 asians lmao. I'm not racist at all, but it is interesting to note that the amount of black/asians/moroccans is more than tripled when looking at schools with lower levels of education. In my country schools are seperated by level/difficulty and my school was of the highest difficulty (but ZERO cost to enter, school is always free) with a 98% white population.
- Since most of you guys aren't on forums, where da fck are you hanging out on the internet?
Reddit has become very mainstream since around 2018. Apart from that, ******** is dead for 80% of zoomers so most of them are on instagram. Tiktok is only used by guys to browse hot chicks.
- What music do zoomers listen to?
Zoomers have the most broad listening tastes of any generation, ever. Makes sense, because we have all this music at our fingertips. So there's no way to answer that question. I personally listen to every genre in the book, but I keep coming back to artists like The Weeknd,Dire Straits, Michael Jackson, Rammstein and Chet Baker mostly.

Us millennials should truly appreciate the fact that the majority of our childhoods were spent pre-tech, pre-internet explosion. Man, those were the days. When the extent of a CPU was the windows 95 pieces of garbage in the computer lab at school and their singular use was for drawing dinks on MS paint.
SNES was the biggest piece of tech I had growing up. Then, N64 came out - definitely the most significant leap in the history of gaming and such an anticipated system back then. 3D graphics. Fkn cottamn I remember how incredible it was to play Goldeneye 64 with my buds for the first time.
Fuk I'm getting all nostalgic now.
To my zoomer misc bros - spend the majority of your time off screens, as much as you can.
