always a warm up set.
sometimes i'd kinda be in the zone and want to start right away and i'd end up with a tweak here n there.

25 minutes on the stairmaster and some stretching on leg day is my usual warm up and start with a light weight 20+ reps to get more loosened up

yes, but I do less now than I did when I was a young lad. Basically because I only have so much gas in the tank now so every set counts.
Lifts:
Squat: 460x1
Bench: 400x1
Deadlift: 575x1
OHP: 250x2

always
if i was working up to a 405 deadlift for hard sets i'd do
135 x 6
225 x 4
315 x 3
365 x 2
then DL 405, usually take 4 warmup sets, it takes an extra 8 minutes but w/e, worth it to me.

Ben Rice does short warmups if he's in the middle of the workout but will warmup regularly if he's just starting. This is just what he does though so don't go balls deep and injure yourself.
I think you can get away with a shorter warmup if your temperature and heart-rate are already elevated so long as you do 1 or 2 heavy warmup sets.
Example of what he does:
Start at 135 for deadlift, work up to top set (700+)
Skips to 225 for bench after deadlifts, works up to top set (300+)

I do ramp up sets but no drawn out steady state cardio. Actually in recent memory some of my worst sessions have been after walking the dogs.

I do about 3 warm up sets before my first lift then I do feeler sets before my top set on subsequent lifts.
getting movement patterns down before going hard is extremely important for activation and injury prevention

Yeah I'll work up in weight but I don't do a ton of reps, don't want to waste energy on warm-up sets. For bench for example
Bar x 8
135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 2
265 x 1
And then into the working sets
Bar x 8
135 x 5
185 x 3
225 x 2
265 x 1
And then into the working sets

Of course. My body is so messed up from college athletics that I have to do a full warm up. I used to just slowly work my way up in sets until my main sets, but whenever I would keep pushing my numbers and peaking for PRs, I would always end up with tweaks or small injuries.
I now do Wenning Warm ups before every session and have had zero issues since. Took me a month or 2 to get used to the extra volume, but I won't do a workout now without it.
Also I stretch at the end of every work out. I used to hate stretching because we were always forced to for warm ups and cool downs for practices and games and I was still always tight, but post workout it actually feels fantastic. Along with hanging for time to decompress my spine and for shoulder health. If anything is perpetually tight I incorporate in my workouts a weighted stretch through ROM. So if I have tight hamstrings all the time, the best remedy I found is doing slow and controlled weighted RDL's (db or barbell). You strengthen the muscle through the entire ROM, and you slowly force it to increase its ROM to allow the movement to function properly.
It sounds like I do a lot but it is just little habits at this point that have had a TREMENDOUS benefit to lifting for me and general health. I don't get injured anymore

Yes. Every single time. I actually do a generic warmup: brisk walking, light weight movements on most muscle groups, etc. And then I do 2 warmup sets of my first lift.

If you don't do warmup sets then you can't be lifting that much. Unless your work set is 135 or something lol. Everyone serious does warmup sets.

Yes.
5-10min walk at gym
Start off with bar first just moving then getting to as if I’m lifting weight. See what’s tight that day
If anything tight get a band/ball out and do some stretching
Ramp weight accordingly

Start with some stretching, mostly back and shoulders. Then do a couple sets of pushups. Then maybe 3-4 warmup sets before getting into working weight.

My only warm up is when I barbell bench press and I just bench the bar. For the most part, no. I use to warm up for shoulder press but not anymore.

Absolutely. I even do a quarter mile moderate jog on the treadmill just to warm my body up before i even pick up a weight these days. Better to tack on the additional 5 to 8 minutes of warm up than taking a trip to snapcity for 3 months.
I really need to start stretching though, i've never stretched and i'm sure one day i'm going to regret it.

Gets the fluids moving
Establishes a connection mind to muscle before working weight is used
Gives a brief practice of form before working weight is used
I've always done warm ups for compound movements for those reasons.
