I use samsung pay almost exclusively now and don't even carry around a wallet anymore. A wallet is just more unessassary stuff in my pocket.

Anyhow, I'm ar the grocery store checking out and the cashier stops me just as I'm about to make payment "sir that doesn't work, we don't take phone payments". I told her actually it does work, and that ive used it multiple times. She continues to argue with me telling me shes worked at this store 10+ years and knows it doesn't work. Well 10 seconds later my payment goes through I can see the look of embarrassment on her face. Her response "oh cool I didn't know that would work"... ****in lol. I could tell she was kinda upset that it worked. Just to blow her mind even more I went on to explain that the Samsung wallet has an extra layer of encryption as a security measure that better protects your cards from hackers. She had zero clue what any of this meant tho.



Another example, I was at Costco and got stopped by their dumb card checkers at the front door asking to see my card. I show the 60 year costco employee my card on my samsung pay account and this bisch actually refuses to to let me pass telling me I need to go back to my car and get my physical card or wait in line for a temporary ID. I tell her to go get a manager cus I'm not walking back and that ive been using it the past 3 years without issue. Well 5 minutes later a manager comes over and tells her it's perfectly fine for my card to be online and just like the cashier, she was completely embarrassed.

Amazing how this idiots are so bothered by younger people using technology to their benefit.
