I think that it's a load of bs which people use to help give their life some purpose. Assuming there is a god and he intentionally has innocent children raped and killed, then he's a pos anyway.

Muslims believe in this it’s called Gods decree

Its true everything that’s happening is all ready written out . God gives us choices and knows the end result of each choice we take .so he knows what choice we are going to make and what’s going to be the end result of that choice .

Our life is like a movie that’s already written we are just playing out the motions .
It was written in stone that you were going to makes this thread.

Prayer , good deeds ,repentance can change destiny. Sometimes God doesn’t give us what we want because it’s harmful for us even tho it seems unfair to us . And bad deeds will change our destiny also but for the worst .

If parents are failing to raise a child properly and God notices this or he thinks they are going abuse or mess up that child’s life and afterlife up by giving that child a terrible upbringing ,then God will take that child away and bring the child to him to save it .

We would then not have free choice if God intervened . We all will be brought to account for the crimes we commit against God and mankind . Everything is written what we do and will be held accountable on judgement day .

This is life is testing Ground an exam to see who will believe ,worship God and do good deeds helping others and the successful ones will enter paradise the evil and wicked will enter hellfire a place where Gods soldiers(angels) will punish the sinful and wicked . people who suffer most in this life are being tested the most because God loves them , he wants to see how loyal u are to him no matter what happens to u or will you turn away from him. The prophets were tested the most some were even tortured and killed for there faith.

Interesting. Im asking this because I cant get a girlfriend and I know Im kinda being a little bitch but Im just asking because there may be a reason why I just cant get with a girl. Maybe theres a Gods plan for me to be by myself and maybe succeed career wise with no distractions. I was really thinking about this. Either way its a very interesting subject.

My preliminary conclusion is that religious texts are nonsense, nonsense written by men like myself. Sure, some may be guides or precepts for folks to live by, but my preliminary conclusion is that these texts were not dictated by a "deity" in the traditional sense of the word.

Isn't it weird as phuck that we were once all Polytheistic and stuff but now everyone is Monotheistic but God hasn't spoken to anyone in eons? And how can so many religions exist at the same time but they're somehow "all right" from their own point of view?

He is either not wanting women to break you’re heart because he cares about you and knows what it will do to you or he is saving a spouse in the after life for you who has been touched by no man a pure chaste women , or he wants you to find him first love him and realise he’s the only one who will never betray you .
Then he will allow you a lawful marriage .

He doesn’t want you to have a girl friend he wants you to have a God fearing loyal wife .who will help you reach paradise . He doesn’t want you to be lonely .

That’s why we make plans and nothing works it wasn’t written in our destiny but God will one day 100 percent let us lonely men experience companionship if not in this life then in the next and I accept that for myself also . But we must believe that he is in control of everything and nothing happens except by his will and do good deeds and prayer and always put him before anyone .

The relationship with God should not be for something superficial like wanting money or a wife but wanting a relationship with our creator and realize his greatness and love . Because if you are only going to him when want something he won’t give you it because its that need that’s bringing u close to him , once God gives you what you want
he knows you will turn away and forgetabout him .so he will not give you want from him in this case but will either give you a huge reward in the afterlife that you cant imagine, or he will divert some type of disease/calamity/harsship that was heading your way.

but If u follow God love him and build a relationship with sincerely since he’s is your lord and never betray him or forget about him always keep that relationship with him , worship him , do good deeds and follow his commands then he will go out his way to help you in this life with whatever problem you have marriage/health/provision .

God will always test you with hardships cos he wants to see how loyal you are to him and will you turn away from him when times are rough. the prophets were tested the most some were tortured and killed.
alot of people who suffer before they die (cancer etc) are being cleansed of their sins because God doesn't want to punish them in the afterlife (Hell) they have that many sins not enough deeds or repentance that their sins need to be cleansed with some type of loss or hardship. so God makes them go through that so they can have peace in the afterlife, our eternal abode.

whatever God does is for our own benefit

Nope.

Ultimately life has no purpose or plan until you devise one yourself. It can be as meaningless or meaningful as you make it. Sometimes I wish I still believed in a higher power because it removed my responsibility to find a purpose/meaning but that's gone now and it's all on me. That's life son.

There was a child at my church that was blind. We prayed over him and over time he actually began to gainsomeability to see. It was amazing.

The kid died in a house fire a few months later.

This is a true story. Still not sure what to make of it. I stopped trying to understand tbh. I still consider myself a Christian and have Christian beliefs and moral system, but I don't waste too much time trying to understand "why" God does anything anymore.

there was once a blind kid in the ancient times, he was being dunked in a lake by other children, a man walking by seen this and said oh lord please cure that poor boys eyesight, so God granted his wish and within 10 minutes the blind boy drowned 2 other kids. things happen for a reason.

maybe God knew that child was going to turn astray and lose out in the here after , may be he knew someone was going to hurt that child or abuse him and brought him to himself.
maybe that boy was a test to you and all around him to see if you will still believe in God, a test of faith , maybe the boys parents havent done enough good deeds or repentance so they had to go through some type of loss and hardship so they can be forgiven and cleansed then will be reunited with the child in the after life .

its Gods decree as us Muslims believe.

I don't understand why God would need us to be any part of a plan. He's omnipotent, he could will any reality into existence that he wanted.

We're more likely an experiment for him - he's eternal and omnipotent, so he wanted to see what would happen with a race of individuals with free will. Probably trillions of universes, all infinite, teeming with life. No omnipotent eternal being would run one experiment at a time.

This doesn't mean that he doesn't love us and want the best for us.

Absolutely true.

So what if he is attacked and dies in his world? Do we still go to heaven, or is just emptied out? Does his conqueror redecorate heaven as he sees fit? What if we get there and it's not a wonderful place filled with relatives and whatnot, and is instead just another Earth?
