This is probably a simple math problem with a formula

I calculated 6k.

100k/day, *365, cash. 2 days of money market interest on this saved from the bank. 0.06%*2/365 * [100k*365] = 12k, total saved.

500*12 = 6k, the cost.

12k-6k = 6k, net saved.

So you have to pay $6k for this service.

Figure you are going to clear an extra $12k revenue from the daily money market rate, right? Just multiply to get the daily rate and extrapolate.

$6k net value of service

You gain $3000 from it, but you pay $6000 for the service, so you're out -$3000

I think this is it but idk.

1. In original scenario you're missing out on 4 days worth of interest ( 1+[0.06/365] * 4 ) on 100k for each collection. 365 collections per year => 0.0006576964 * 100k * 365 =
$24005.92

2. In the $500 scenario you're paying $500 but gaining 2 days interest payment. 1+[0.06/365] ^2 on 100k for each collection. 365 collections per year => 0.00032879415 * 100k * 365 =
$12000.9863014

The difference here is $12000

Then less the fee of ($500) * 12 = ($6000)

24000
(12000)
(6000)
= +$6000
