For 1 billion dollars, would you swim this 100metre distance? (Pic)

A billionaire offers you $1 billion dollars if you can swim from the island in thr picture to his boat parked 100 metres away.

The island is seal island off the coast of south Africa.

100 metres
1 billion dollars

Are seals viscious or something? You'd have to be handicapped or something to not be able to swim 100m.

Dense seal population means lots of sharks, I assume.

Edit: Off wiki

"Besides the Cape fur seal, there is the Brown fur seal,[2] and the dense population of seals at certain times of the year attracts the seal's main predator, the great white shark.[1] Seal Island and the adjacent waters provide rare opportunities for those who wish to witness attacks by great whites on the Cape fur seal and to observe social interactions amongst creatures of both species. The island has become famous for the size of the sharks, and for their favoured way of catching their prey – a shark launching an attack will come up from underneath and hurl itself out of the water with the seal in its mouth. It has been shown that if the seals enter the "Ring of Death" (where the sharks circle the island) on the surface instead of at the murky bottom, they are more likely to be picked off by the faster and more aggressive great white."

Fukit would probably go for it. 1 billy is 1 billy.

Only worried about getting cancelled and sued for the blackface I would put on and black out every inch of skin with somthing that won’t wash off. Hardest part would probably be not going into an all out sprint. I’m a really fast swimmer but the splashing could make them want to come take a bite to see what I am if they are in full on hunting mode.

OP, your pics makes it look like there's pie with whipped icing out there. Yes, would swim for that delicious dessert.
Just trying hard to not be a fat sack-o-chit.

Its actually a Spanish war galleon from the 1700's. You can tell by the etchings on the side of the hull

I think you would have to try

don't swim super fast and just steady.

I would hope the sharks realize your not a seal and just phuck off.

Also make sure to avoid dawn/dusk during the swim because sharks are most active then.
