Maybe that's because it isn't actually a vaccine. They have been up front about the fact you can still get COVID even if you have it. It will lessen symptoms and eliminate risk of death. Basically it's a booster shot.

I'm no liberal, but you need to learn to read beyond the headline. The vaccine is about 95 percent effective. That means that out of 100 that get the vaccine, 5 will still possibly get covid. Most of those that get covid will have a milder form.
