But is also why I buy first world country made products. For tech gear, probably want to go with Patagonia instead at the same price range. Patagucci focuses more on sustainability

Actually it looks pretty much like a Chinese person wrote it. In Chinese the characters are written using sharp strokes and this habit tends to translate over when they write in English. You can clearly see the sharp strokes used here to write that note. I think it's legit.
