Went to the gym tonight and noticing the same fact every time

They have a tv on all the time and I was on a cardio machine for half an hour. TheENTIREtime the tv was on, I cannot recall evenonecommercial where a black person was not the main focus of the commercial. they're so unrealistic too. Like portraying BLM to be peaceful, or FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE! When the fuk have you ever seen a black dude drive a Audi RS8? Never. I mean there were a couple white extras walking in the background probably filmed unwillingly, but that's about it and I'm hardly exaggerating. Is it right to shun the entire rest of us out? Is this diversity, or something else?

Completely couldn’t agree any more

I worked in the mattress industry selling tempurpedics. I’d say out of 100 sells I can count on one hand how many were blacks and they were ALL military.

Commercials for tempurpedic and when I was training were all slide shows of extremely heavy blacks. I’m talking 80%+

Even today it’s all over.
I would say majority of blacks were lucky to spend 500$ on a mattress and always have issues aka complaining

Just LOL expecting them to be majority buying 5000$-10,000$ mattress sets as displayed on commercials/consumers all over media

yeah i've been noticing this for a while

In fact during the superbowl I was playing a little drinking game on my own.

Take a shot every time an unknown straight white male is the main focus of a commercial. So it can't be like an actor or celebrity. Just a regular joe. Even if he's there for a 3 second shot on a lawnmower or soemthing.

I took 3 shots.

Yea I have no issues with who’s in a commercial but the underlining agenda they’re pushing is blatantly transparent. That’s my only issue with it. It’s all about framing straight white men as weak or undesirable. It’s really sinister and means much more at the core of it than ‘just hiring more black actors’. If it were just that so many people wouldn’t be taking notice.

It's like what Jordan Peterson said: "I would rather my corporations be greedy than virtuous" They really have little to gain by being virtuous, especially since it's been proven time and again that displays of moral virtuosity rarely help collect more sales. Gillette lost a load of money from that "Men can be better" commercial. So why do they do it? Why do they feel proud of themselves for losing money in an attempt to be virtuous? Plenty to think about

BLM is a negative propaganda organization, so I agree there.

However, in Philly many black people have high end cars. In my apartment building, they have audi and Mercedes. I am not a car guy so I don't know the difference between them but these are sporty and sleek looking so I assume the aren't the "cheap" ones, whatever that means.

In addition, when I'm in the ghetto lots of people own their own homes or rent is super cheap, so the money goes to very expensive cars.

Expensive cars was a "poor people" thing where I grew up, and that was a mostly white area. It's low self-esteem males who believe the car defines them, so they will spend lots of money on that instead of education, travel, etc.
