Is the increase on attacks on asians real?

With asian's have these attacks always been going on? Are we just being drawn into the narrative by the media and there really isn't much of an increase.

Best way to put it is like this:

Back when I didn't have a corvette, I would think corvettes were rare and amazing.
When I got a corvette, I noticed everyone had a corvette.
When I got rid of my corvette, I no longer saw corvettes on the road.

In short, people notice things more when they look for said things.

As usual it's all MSM BS.

Out of the 16 largest metro areas in the US it did go up 145% from 2019 to 2020.







From a whopping 49 in 2019 to 120 in 2020.

120 the whole year. Out 1773 total hate crimes.

in Vancouver it went up 800% for that scary headline then you realize it went from 20 to 120. for a city of millions .

The attacks of all people have been going on and crime has increased in general during the covid economic crisis. Just look at NYC, carjackings and petty crime. But this became a topic of conversation when the Asian community***** attributed the specific crimes that they were experiencing *****to the words uttered by the former president.
And that is when the chit hit the fan with Trump supporters and instant denial of ANY connection or correlation.
