The gap in Quality of Life in equivalent skilled labour between countries is closing fast but you get a lot of good experience and extra established opportunities.

From living in the UK, I can observe that it is better to be raised in the East as:

-- You are Slavic and white/pale, so anti-immigrant British people usually mean non-whites and non-christian.

-- Good-looking White British girls (as much as they can offer) don't ignore you automatically but they do ignore Indian/Chinese men.

-- Asian girls with the inferiority complex visually perceive you the same but being Eastern European you are more conservative. Since they bundle every white as behaving as an American you stand out as someone who is closer to their dream culture man.

-- If you are in STEM, you soak up a lot of opportunity for good cash because the British males are too busy orbiting some bimbo (gynocentric generation) and British girls are too busy trying to be IG models with a Sociology degree.

-- You can go back to Eastern Europe for a wife and pillage there as if you are some Oxford/Cambridge graduate with some established experience you are perceived as God-tier.
