LMAO to become a certified crossfit trainer you need only two days of training

Prerequisites: None.

Just $1000 and you are good to coach groups of people highly technical and dangerous olympic lifts for high reps.

You're surprised? Basically during that course they go over deadlift, snatch and clean plus muscles ups versus chinups. It's not like they need to explain programming because it's all random anyway.

Listen to Mat Fraser on Rogan.

Even he is basically embarrassed to be hitched to the Crossfit train. He didnt even tell his friends. The found out when they saw him on TV lol.

He was incredible at olympic lifting before starting, and that is pretty much the only reason he became the best crossfitter ever.

He claims that there is no standard across the various gyms (boxes, lmao), and its kind of the wild west as to what and how they teach things.

Makes sense now.

As I was leaving the gym yesterday there was this "trainer" who had to be over 300 pounds with a greasy ponytail. He wasn't even offensive lineman fat, just a plain blob of lard fat. As far as I know my gym only hires certified trainers. What certification board thought this dude was capable of teaching anything about fitness.
