Spent two weeks together at the beginning and everything was great just traveling as friends/backpacker types, and then also traveled to Mexico few weeks later, and this was when things went off the rails. She's the type of girl who has been in a lot of relationships in the past, and ended up turning into a much different (and much worse) person when she viewed us as being in some type of relationship(and finding out I had money) than when traveling as friend where she didn't know my financial capabilities(likely as some type of defense mechanism to keep things from getting too close?). She would do odd things like getting all kinds of different guys Instagram while we were out(when these guys were clearly hitting on her), and she started wanting me to pay for everything without giving any type of real commitment in return. In contrast, the first couple weeks I spent with her were awesome, and she presented herself as like the perfect proper girl who would make a 10/10 girlfriend(but also liked to party and was super fun but respectful to be out with).

Was a terrible communicator, and although I don't believe she was actually fuking other guys or anything, she would tell stories about partying in all these sexual situations and obviously leave out many details or be vague about a lot of things which would mess with my head a lot. I couldn't tell if this was her being intentionally manipulative or what, but I've personally never been close with a girl who acted like this. We were actually supposed to travel again this week, but I could tell she kept trying to change things around to position the situation where I would be paying for her things. She kept saying she had her own money, but still wanted me to pay for things 100% after a while. Although she would say she loved me at the end, she didn't seem to have any interest in me unless it could result in her gaining some type of financial benefit. Basically if I wanted any type of love from her it came with a price.

Looking back, it almost seems like she follows a certain pattern and has done this a lot of times in order to use guys for a short amount of time while gradually turning into a crappier and crappier person. Yesterday, she had gone on a trip and I was planning to meet her there, and she told me I needed to stop and buy her some jewelry before leaving as a gift(because there was something I had done a couple days before that had upset her) and this is when I laughed and told her to fuk off. She quickly said I was no longer welcome to come visit her.

I'd like to know the end game with a girl like this, like if a guy doesn't have the balls to leave and just sticks around. Financial ruin?

Rule #1: Unless you are with a girl who has her own career and makes like $100k+ with a legit job, never ever talk about how much money you have or even take a girl to lavish places. Even if it feels good to spend cash on a person you like, money ruins relationships before they reach a certain point. This girl presented herself as a high class girl who had experienced a high class lifestyle in the past so I thought I could get away with it, but as soon as she found out the depth of my financial resources she started treating me as nothing more than a walking ATM machine and any semblance of a real relationship went out the window.

Live and learn, I really wanted to keep this girl around as a FWB or travel buddy for the future(and this is where I should have kept her to begin with and should have never tried an actual relationship), but the relationship was too toxic to keep in any fashion.
