Thinking of going Voluntarily Celibate for 6 months-cope or good idea?

Just broke things off with the girl I was seeing cause it was boring and unfulfilling. Now lockdown is kicking in here again and I don’t feel like punching down on dating apps cause I know this same situation will just happen again. Considering just putting sex and women on the back burner for a bit to just focus on life and becoming a more developed man. Since I was 16 up til this point the longest I’ve gone without is like 3 months so maybe it will offer me a chance to learn about myself. Thoughts boyos?

yeah I’m feeling like I’m forcing it rn. Can’t engage in in any activities I enjoy so the likelihood of meeting someone I actually have something in common w/ is severely diminished. Hence checking out for a bit

Yes of course taking a break and directing the energy from sex and putting it into other areas of your life will definitely be beneficial.
