His murder charge is unintentional, none of the charges need intent. He deserves that murder conviction, this went beyond simple negligence causing death he kept choking him for 3 minutes after he passed out, EVEN after being told Floyd had no pulse. You could argue thats evidence of intentional murder, so unintentional is a slap on the wrist. If its just man slaughter there will be riots especially with a crappy 5 year sentence.

Nope its not right, its injustice. The justice system is not divine, there can be wrong outcomes and if there is then the people must find justice their own way, that's how it should be. He needs to be convicted for murder and sentenced to over 10 years to avoid riots. Sadly all it takes is 1 idiot on the jury to ruin everything and thats a big risk.

What sentence would you give? Would give more than manslaughter? Please layout your logic for any sentence more severe than manslaughter, I'd love to read it. Then please explain to me how that would be a great precedent to set for any future criminal encounters by law enforcement.
