Do you consult your simping friend?

What is the protocol on this? Do you sit down and tell him the facts, or do you mind your own business and let him simp?

Cliffs:

Buddy is simping hard for a 31 yr old single mom of 2 (she is hot though, typical insta thottiana)

Spent $250 on first date with her

She blew him off for brunch at 4 star restaurant while he was waiting there

He continues to text her and play mental gymnastics of her excuses

Yes, sit down with him and tell him the facts in a kind way that won't make him defensive. He will probably refuse to see the truth anyways, but you won't feel so bad because you will have done what a friend is supposed to do.

Yeah heโ€™s 31, got a good head on his shoulders but super unaware of how females operate in 2021.

He probably wonโ€™t take the advice like you guys said, heโ€™s stuck in his blue pill ways.
