Thread to respond to Massive Phones/Social Media threads.
Many of us have deleted our social media. (just LOL if misc isn't your only social media)
I had an LG EnV3 in 2015 before I gave in and got my first smartphone. After 5 miserable years I finally found a solution: The Light Phone
I waited for the first model to come and hit the open market. They released the second model which allows texting and will have features rolled out for navigation/podcasts. Simple.
It's been 6 months using this phone and funny enough, I've read 6 classic novels in that time. I've taken statistics and accounting courses and can focus for a couple hours at a time without even thinking to look at my phone. I honestly forget to check it sometimes.
Did I mention that my phone bill with Verizon has been slashed by 40% since I don't have a smartphone line?
(PS, I still have a smartphone that I will occasionally get out to connect to wifi for apps like Venmo which I use to pay rent...furthermore, I can always throw the simcard back in that b1tch when I travel outside my city) WIN/WIN
