Walking up or downstairs in the dark and you step because you think there's another step and get all phucked up.

What about getting head from a cannibal? That's pretty scary. Even worse, getting a head from a cannibal in the dark on some stairs.

Isn't that sensation a form of vertigo or something?

I've had similar experiences riding passenger in a car, typically going around a round a about or taking an unexpected corner while I'm not paying attention.
