Askren will grind him, clinch, grind, over and over. Askren took bombs from Robbie lawler. You think JP hits harder then the ruthless one ? He’s not getting put out by JP. Askren has got cardio for days and is a legit pro athlete

A lot of the books are leaning towards Paul. They may know something we don't. Conditioning issue or an injury kept secret maybe?

Probably Jake Paul unfortunately. More boxing experience, trains at the mayweather gym and nobody there sucks.

As much as I hate the kunt, I think Jake will win. Ben has no KO power, and will just get overwhelmed.

I thought askren retired after that somewhat fluky albeit absolutely devastating knee?

I recall he fought Damien Maia but I thought he was done now he’s making a comeback already?

I hope Askren wins, but he has no boxing or striking fundamentals.

Even a Youtube "boxer" like Jake has way better hands than he does. So if I had to bet, I'd go with Jake winning by TKO

Yep, same one who ko’d Nate Robinson.

I can only see this go either two ways:

1. Paul actually hits Askren hard enough within the first 3 rounds, catching Askren off guard and KO’s him for the win. This is unlikely I’d say as It would take quite a lot to KO Askren using full padded gloves and purely boxing.

2. Askren doesn’t get KO’d and his superior stamina prevails, by round 6-7 he lets loose on a tired Paul and clinches the victory that way.

Only thing to add is that it doesn’t look like Askren is taking this seriously at all and complacency may creep in. While Paul is taking this very seriously as he would want to get that bragging rights of beating an actual professional MMA fighter, in turn could open more doors to fight with legit fighters in future and bigger purse/ppv deals.

doubt Askren gets ko'd
he's only been ko'd once in his career by Masvidal's flying knee
Askren clinches his way to a decision win

Askren WOULD win if it was a fair fight, but there's a 99.9% chance Jake paid off Ben to lose on purpose. The fight is rigged from the start

Jake losing hurts his career dramatically, while its a moot point for Askren. JP winning is a win-win for both parties

I hope Askren takes down an exhausted Jake Paul and bricks on his chest.

Done.
One month, I got Jake Paul you got Ben Askren. No matter how the winner is decided, as long as a winner is decided, we have a winner/loser of our one month ban bet as well.

A month outta here can’t hurt in any case.
