Anyone watching “Invincible”?
Animated adult superhero show on netflix. Only about 3 episodes in so far. I do enjoy it, but it definitely has that modern-day America air about it. That is to say, one could probably accuse of it of being kind of “woke”.

For someone called "Invincible", the main character sure gets his ass kicked a lot.
I don't really care about him or any of the teenager characters at all.
The "coming-of-age" doesn't appeal to me.
The entire first episode I was like "meh.."
But then the ending of the episode came about. Where Omni-Man killed the Justice League.
It was unexpected and awesome!
I'm invested in Omni-Man and the investigation into why he did it. The drama of him lying to his wife. He could be like Homelander from the Boys where he could go nuts and kill everyone.
My only problem with Omni-Man is for someone so into teaching his son to be a superhero there have been many times where he could have helped him out. He could literally kill all those supervillians at that one building. At the same time I think he's just letting his son do his own thing because that's what he believes in.

Yes, watching it. The wokeness isn't too bad in this show, so it's doesn't bother me too much.
Could do without the teen relationship struggles arc but I like the show. I doubt I'd watch if not for the violence though.
