Lol at feeling nervous for leaving a job. I'm always happy AF
I think I will be happy, I just never like telling an employer I'm quitting. Plus I've never worked somewhere as long as this current job (barely 2 1/2 years) so I've become extra comfortable.

I'm fckin off to NZ, got my visa approved back in the winter and am slowly working my way into the CCP. (not srs)

Nice brah. Job market is crazy, plenty of opportunities. Good on you leaving something when something better comes along. Gotta look out for yourself.

I am very excited about pivoting and focusing on some new areas of interest.

For sure, Best of luck. I always thought about living in different country but it feels hard to beat America especially the good parts and not the fly over chit holes SRS.

I lived in NZ for a year when I was younger. It's pretty great. Basically just like home (washington) but more sheep and people

You're about 3 weeks late. I gave notice at my last job on April 1 and it was way too much fun. Convinced my boss to give my resignation letter to HR, but nobody I talked to would believe that I actually quit. I didn't even plan it that way, it's just how it worked out.

Yea? They better! They bumped the price up on me. I'm actually kinda stoked for it. I've never spent 2 weeks alone before. Maybe a week, one time or another - but isn't there a retreat in auckland that people come from all over for, just so they can go 2 weeks without talking or communicating with anyone?
