How does a chemical (ie. alcohol, drugs) change how you feel?

how can matter...oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, in the right combinations and amounts change how you feel subjectively?

the only drug you need is an orange pill called nardil. It stops your body from
breaking down precious neurotransmitters that keep you at a "human" level. Without this breakdown, your dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine levels will literally be unlimited givng you power only accessible to the Gods.
