I'm thinking Costa Rica, Panama, or Colombia. Srs.
Just LOL@you if you don't have an exit strategy.
It's about to be over for this country.
government corruption
crony capitalism
a Fed run by the wealthy's lackeys
ballooning debt
an out of touch liberal movement that seems to be growing daily
a growing socialist movement that is gaining steam
a strong desire by the wealthy to eliminate the middle class
we're end of days brah
So where are you guys heading?

Wake up. The world is circling the toilet, OP.
Some of y'all need to accept the fact the Bible has been right on a great many things and will continue to be right in the future.
It's all downhill from here.
Brb, perfectly primed for people to call for a one world government promising peace and happiness through united effort.
Brb, perfectly primed for Christians to be exiled as roadblocks to utopian progress.
2 Timothy 3:1-9
"1But know this, that in the last days [a]perilous times will come: 2For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3unloving, [b]unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was."

I never know how to use that phrase. Is there another saying I'm thinking of? That would say things will continue to spiral from this point?

Costa Rica is New York level costs.
Mexico City is the GOAT. I might pop into Australia and the US from time to time as I have passports to these countries and businesses but Mexico City is where it's at. Santiago is also good but a bit expensive.
Get a job or marketable skills where people pay you to work remotely anywhere in the world. ie not be a tradie.
Chiang Mai in Thailand is also a favourite of mine. Indonesia and KL are also good.

No your right but if you are not making money in Thailand you should be ok. None of these South East Asian countries are ever stable but they seem to funciton.

“I gotta leave America because of such, such, and such”
brb lists a bunch if countries that has all that ten fold and more.
Hate to break it to you op, there is no other options out there thst doesnt also have all those issues in spades.
You are romanticizing these places cuz you are completely ignorant of their own issues, as are expats who have only been there a couple years and are living off their employer back home.

The issue is and this is what people don't realize salaries are garbage in US. Like other countries in the US you need to go on your own now. If i go on my own and earn 150k in Mexico and pay 25% tax why should i earn 150k in US pay 50% tax, to cover the brother reparation funds, and cost of living is much higher and not really better?
