Where did the tattoo hate come from?

I know maybe 2-3 people who don't have tattoos, somehow everyone on this board is now anti-tattoo. Why?

I think more people in real life hate tattoos than they let on. I've known women with tattoos, complaining about her boyfriend or husband doesn't have tattoos, he says he doesn't want tattoos and tries to forbid her for getting more tattoos

tattoos are fine and whatever, but people need to realize it's a purely sexual thing. Guys who like women with tattoos only want to bang them (tattoos adds to the bangability) NOT wife them up. Women who get tattoos are looking to be seen as bangable by the guys who want to bang them already.

My wife has tattoos and I love it. I'm also in the Navy and every person and their spouse has them so to me it's normal.

I can understand not wanting them from a bodybuilding perspective, to keep the aesthetics pure, but the hate in the misc borders on puritanical witch-burning levels. Bunch of 20 year olds screaming like Boomers

From what I've seen online there seems to be a growing group of young people who think they're morally superior to basically everyone else and won't hesitate to call anything they don't like degenrate. This includes tattoos. Idk if it's just because these things are more mainstream so it's seen as rebellious to be against them.

Im perfectly fine with people getting tatts if they want - definitely not for me.

Just lol if you want to turn a contemporary fad into a permanent mark.

Thats like having a favourite green sweater, and permanently attaching it to your body. I judge people with tatts the same as i would if someone permanently attached their favourite green sweater to their body.

Heh, just looked, the guy who did my sleeves raised his price since I went, glad I got them when I did. Waited until 28 to get tattoos and happy I did, I wanted good work done and sht isn't cheap.

Chris Youngblood at The Skull Museum, paid $16,400. Overtime like a bitch to pay for it, did both arms in 6 months. Evil Dead theme on left arm, whatever he felt like doing on the right.
