Anyone use the AMEX purchase protection/warranty?

Bought a blu ray player that died on me over 90 days later, they refunded no issues.

Now I got a pair of shoes that I only got for going out, wore them maybe 5 times and the sole is already “bent” so its uneven when I walk. Since they’re $200 I feel they should have lasted more.


This a good reason to use? Can you use it too much and get banned from using it ?

The policy says the limit is $50k per year but that seems like it can be easily abused

If they start saying you can't use it just tell them you have 29k rep power on the misc and they will probably let you do whatever.

Yea, after my 5yr. warranty on my truck ran out and I had a little issue I just told them I want a new one so they shipped me another. Of course i stated my rep power on the Misc tho.
