Swelling on inside of bicep muscle, I don't think it's torn, what could it be?
Firstly, it's swelling of the muscle, not related to my lymph nodes or anything like that.
I thought I tore my bicep, what would be a 'proximal tear of the small bicep head'.
Had almost a golf ball sized lump on the inside of my bicep, and when I'd try and flex there would be like almost a flattening and a divot in my bicep peak (no Popeye arm though, not like in the pics I've seen).
Thankfully this appears to be gradually going away, visible signs will be gone in like 2 more days, but IDK how long until arm feels completely better.
If it wasn't a bicep tear though what could it have been?
I've pulled, strained, etc. muscles before but never had those strains resulting in a bulging muscle.
Also went to the doctor and she said it was nothing and to just take it easy for a while.
That's cool and I didn't believe her at first til the lump started going away, just curious, is it just inflammation?

My bicep appears to be slowly returning back to normal, the lump is nearly gone after two days and bicep peak almost normal.
Also need to clarify lump on my arm was about the size of half a golf ball.

Sounds like AIDs OP.
But srs it was probably a small tear maybe. Definitely would get it checked out, unless you workout and suddenly rip it off the bone. I saw my coach in high school rip his bicep off the bone and it was flapping around under his tricep.

It's probably a bicep tear because you have to carry around that old heavy brick phone that doesn't have a camera on it.

Doctor said don't lift anything over 10 Lbs. and don't lift anything overhead, I go for a follow-up next week.
In other words I practically can't use the arm at all, which limits exercises I can even do.
Ex. I do weighted crunches while holding a 25 Lb. plate, probably can't do that because eventually strain of holding it will reach the bicep.
Only thing I can really work is my legs, and even then I'm not comfortable with arm position on squats so only really leg press and leg curl (I've heard leg extensions are very bad for your knees).
Probably just go in and do leg press, leg curls. then just ride the stationary bike 30-60 minutes.
Matter of fact can't even do leg press because I can't even load the weight onto the machine.
