Did not get the job misc

Current job: $75k base, $110k with bonuses, overtime (including holidays), and late night hour differential perks. Semi-remote, but fully remote with COVID, gotta live in some specific areas.

Failed Job Opportunity: $100-130k base (depending), $120k-$165k with bonuses. Fully remote.

Was hyped for it! Got far in the interview process, but they went with some others. Wanted to vent somewhere lol.

Bruh are you me? Same base + roughly same bonuses, and applied for a FAANG position, went thru 5 interviews and didn't get it - feelsbatman

Dang das not it mane. At least we tried. I went deep into their interviews too, think the next step would've been an offer / HR stuff.

well the silver-lining is if they need to hire again, youll probably be the first one theyll call. Its less expensive for the company to go through the whole process again if they already know a decent candidate.
