CDC officially announces that COVID is airborne

to me it is asinine that they acknowledge this so late

march 8, 2020, we see covid transmission pattern within a call center that is entirely consistent with being airborne (seehttps://wwwnc.cdc.gov/eid/article/26/8/20-1274_article- this is even published on their own site in Aug 2020)

another thing that seems ridiculous is the plexiglass ppl rushed to put up, yes it will block ppl sneezing/coughing direct particles, but plenty of the time it is bc of the duration of time and airflow pattern

thats not to say this is some fearmongering, it just feels like another instance where the public health stance + public messaging is completely off the mark. when you say, oh jk lol it is actually airborne!!, over a year after, you really wonder what is going on. makes people who say "DONT QUESTION THE SCIENCE / public guidance" look like shills imo

So when will they announce this is a disease targeting fat asses and old people?


Even scientists testing N95 masks found they don't completely protect you from Covid either. Everyone needs a step above whether that's fully enclosed suits or what.

I've just been reusing my N95 mask everyday for the last year or longer. Been using trains, planes, etc. According to the hysteria I should had gotten sick by now.

But I refuse to believe that fabric somehow disintegrates just because it was used for a day or even a month. I understand if you go outside with it in a rainy city like London or Seattle but dry places? No way.

Because the vaccines are not real vaccines, you still spread.

I think the the edges of the seal become frayed and begin to deteriorate. I suspect condensation from breathing also may breakdown the mask (this is just opinion).

It's just frustrating that all these people are wearing masks for protection but now we're being told it's insufficient. I mean I work in a hospital. I know the difference between droplet and airborne precautions. We were lied to.

How dare they 😏

You can still spread but it’s much less likely. It’s more about fear than logic

CDC said vaccinated people don’t need to wear masks around each other or even around non vaccinated people who aren’t at risk, yet people still do

I guess you could say some of the "science" changed.

We were previously told that a distance of 6 feet and the use of a cloth face mask would stop (not slow or inhibit) the spread of this virus. Millions of people followed this and sacrificed their business, social life etc. For it.

It seems this new information invalidates some of the prior thoughts and practices.

Not really. Nobody ever said masks would stop the spread, just slow down. Same thing with 6 feet apart.

Still no evidence of 2-3 weeks post-vaccinated people infecting others after 1.2 Billion vax shots. Gotta have a high viral load to be contagious to others, which both prior infected and vaccinated people simply don't have. Chances are we will discover it's practically impossible for them to infect people other than during sex.

This is why I'm not masking since my shot. I don't want to participate in the anti-science theater act anymore.
