Misc you guys are gonna hate me for this, but I’m thinking of texting my ex

If I was outside my own body I’d grab me by the shirt and back hand myself twice and tell myself to get that sht out of my mind. But I’m not and my emotions are involved. Today is 3 years since I’ve seen her or spoken to her, been hard NC. Only girl to ever show me true love, only girl that was willing to die for me, only girl to make me her world, and you wana know what my dumbass did? I took it for granted. And that regret has been living in me for 3 fcking years. Everyday I think of her. And I think I need to at least take one last shot or maybe just apologize for my bullsht.

But how lol, I’ve literally traveled the world in the last 3 years, been with many beautiful women, but I just feel more empty, I miss the love she had for me bruh. I won’t do it, I don’t have the heart to actually do it. That’s really what has held me back for 3 years. Too scared. But for the first time today I typed her number out in my message box. So maybe my want for her is finally starting to surpass my fear of the definite rejection

The problem is you haven't found someone equally as good or better. You haven't found happiness. So you resort to trying to go back with your ex.
Well even the 0.00001% that you do get back together, the relationship wouldn't last. It wouldn't be the same as it once was when you were in love. That trust etc, all that is gone.

Instead of improving your life, you're looking for a quick fix for your pain. Sorry but that's not happening. You need to move forward, not look backwards.

Maybe you subconsciously became less attracted to her over the fact she was willing to make you the center of her world?
She should be the center of her own world and shouldn't be willing to die for anyone (other than her kids if she were to ever have any).

Sounds like immature love and you need to grow up and stop fantasizing over it.
Hopefully she has grown up and moved on since then too.

You’re right, this year I’ve been workin on myself it’s improving, but yea I’ve been talked down. I’m actually going to start seeing a professional just to deal with other stuff.

Yea she’s moved on and I’m actually really proud of her. And I always tell people she’s really strong for actually breaking up with me because I was taking her for granted

Yea my profile pic is a physique pic, but I’m 6’2.5ft, pretty good looking guy; I get hit on when I go out, so it’s pretty easy, but the downside is I can’t form an emotional connection: no lie, most girls just see me as someone to fck and believe it or not that really fcks with your head, so I went abstinent.
