Unless you spent 100+ hours of researching Bitcoin and blockchain your arguments invalid. Imagine dismissing the internet and being closed minded in the 90's.

Just got my taxes done and apparently the IRS is readying up to tax people big time for their crypto transactions, and they will be investigating any crypto purchases and if people don't declare it they are going to get hit by the IRS for tax evasion.

Its important to note most companies did not recover at all.

If you were EXTREMELY LUCKY you got your money back after 10 years (MSFT, AMZN, BKNG) etc. but lets be honest 99.99999% of people sold after 2-3 years for a loss.

Good luck picking the right crypto out of the thousands available.

yep, i just filed an amended return today because i forgot to include my bitcoin gain from last year (even though it was only $150) you have to check a box whether or not you bought and sold crypto. Also, the IRS is now considering bitcoin property not currency which allows them to tax it
(these are my opinions i am not a licensed broker by trade)
