Anyone selling some crypto now?

Not ready to let go of any BTC but decided to sell some ETH.

Bought $500 worth of ETH a year ago.
Sold for $7694 today.

Not a bad return.

Ran up 2K to 30K, been scaling out past few months - only 5K left in. Feels real toppy - and this is a market you wont be able to sell in when you need to so best to take profits on the way up

Still debating whether to sell some of my 1 BTC. I can see it dropping to 30k and not sure I want to wait it out several years to get back up to the 60k range. Tempted to sell about .25 of a BTC today.

Waited until I held for a year to avoid short term cap gains.

My silver collecting the last few months about to make me one of the new era elites. Think a lot of the money exiting Crypto will head there. In addition to the stock market inevitable collapse.

Would you sell all that has been held for 1 yr? I refuse to give the government long term cap gains tax which would be almost half, so I'll hold the rest until then at least.

I waited until any of my Crypto was clear of the 1 year mark as well, I'm of the same mindset as you, I'd rather lose more money than I'd get by selling it prior to 1 year if it means the government not leeching off of me with outrageous taxes.

Edit: Unless I misread, your reps went up 2000+ wtf.

I think this is a terrible time to sell. The dip is only based on Elon Musk, a few targeted bad news stories and people losing their nerve. Should have sold a week ago, but you were probably getting greedy then.

Selling now is retarded, you should've done that like a week or two ago.

Hold on for the crash and average down by buying back in when BTC is around 20k.

A week or two ago someone would have said selling is retarded. At 200k someone will say selling is retarded, wait for it to go to a million a BTC.

As someone whos made a chunk and is scaling out - I gotta ask those who are buying now: where does the rest of the money come from. IE whos going to hold your bags? Less and less stimulus on the horizon. Market caps of rando coins already look inflated. Someone sell me the idea that crypto market (and all markets right now) aren't toppy.

EDIT: and I don't mean just BTC (because you may cite its recent crash) - alot of money moved from DODGE to Cardano on the Mustk tweest about POS, so some money is swinging rather than a net sell off of crypto.

well for me, it's the simple fact that the vast majority of people don't have any crypto yet.

I've been getting a little uneasy with all this phuckery that the Government is going to start rolling out regulations and shyt.

Kind of unsure I right now if I want to continue making sizable purchases.

Yes - sell so I can buy cheaper please.

This is the best part of the crypto market - the majority of investors are total financial idiots and have no experience with investing. This is the most fascinating part of the "social media-fication" of investing, morons who know nothing, buying whatever "cool" thing everyone else is buying, thinking its a get rich quick scheme....with their little $500 investment accounts.

Sell it *******s. Give it to me.
