Ignoring women is pretty much the way isn't it?
Seems to me when every guy is trying to get on some woman, the best thing you can do is just ignore her because she's going to assume you're going to try to.
When you don't, then she begins to wonder why and finds that intriguing.
Still be cordial, say hey, keep conversations brief and obviously some mystery but move forward with your life.
Women will come to you if you do this.

It's not about ignoring them.
It's about you doing you and stop revolving your life around women. You live life with enthusiasm and purpose every day for even the little things. Then over time you will realize how you used to be before you hit puberty and was pressured by all the movies, tv shows, and social indoctrinations over the years to prize women and to put them on a pedestal. As a side effect, it actually attracts women because you will gather so much life force energy that they can detect it miles away, but it won't probably be for a while until you truly start to love your life the way it's going.

This kinda works in high school or undergrad and she’s already interested in you. You see her around, and eventually at a party you smash. But you still have to do something at some point.
Easier in the long run to get over it and interact with girls.

being amazing in front of women is the way. if you work with them, be a pucking star at work, if you go to the gym with them, be the baddest man in the building. be friendly and charismatic, be nice to and helpful to people.
the "ignoring her" part is this, DONT give her special treatment. be awesome to everyone one all the time. dont single her out or peruse her. when you do talk with her ask her meaningful questions about her life, but dont hit on her in the same conversation. Women get hit on all the time, they dont have men they respect show interest in them all the time. step one is to be worthy of respect.
