anyone seen the Trainspotting sequel?
as a preparation I watched the original for the first time in over 15 years
had a completely different experience now compared to when I first saw it as a teenager
the OG is an absolute masterpiece
the T2 sequel however was OK but nothing special
it was nice to see all the actors again, but besides nostalgia it doesn't really offer much imo
would absolutely ravage Diane in both OG as T2 though, dat accent hnggggg

i started watching the original cuz heard it was so good. but after bout 15-20mins i turned it off. couldnt stand the UK accents and slang. its not good if youre american

Kelly MacDonald has the maist egregious Glesga uni accent av ever heart, it's just too much. They ramped up the sjw stuff in it, ****ting on Indigenous Scottish Protestants, subversive messages about Scottishness in general, Renton talking ****e about online misogyny. Pretty good film slightly spoiled by wealthy westenders wanking and faffing.

but at least it doesn't chit on the legacy unlike some other sequels/reboots/remakes nowadays
