All kinds of different Industries collaborating to fix prices, BET

Went to the dealer today to possibly trade my car in for a new CR-V and lo and behold, "sorry, only 1k off MSRP, there's a key fob shortage, and not much supply"

oooooh ok. yanno first it was the 'rona", now it's a "nationwide" key shortage. what's next?

Dont even get me started on lumber. Some futures trader the other day "Well yeah, thats our job, to buy low and .... sell .... high"

Brb stacks upon stacks of logs at these mills so there aint no shortage in the first place causing lumber prices to go up 400%
Brb a 2-6-8 at home depot going for $15.16, meanwhile the one i picked up from a local family-owned mil last week was $8 for a TRUE 2x6x8

Housing through the roof
Gas following

All because of "hurr durr shortages." Tell me im not the only one that sees we're getting fukt by all these different industries and every last scoundrel out there trying to fuk over mostly the middle class, but really everyone in general.

The microchip and labor shortages are well documented.

There is a materials and labor shortage.. same reason GPU and ammo prices are so high.

If you're willing to travel, you can still get a new car at or below invoice. Do a nation wide search on Autotrader and settle on terms with the internet manager before traveling.
