How crazy are dinosaurs (srs)

Anyone else think it's crazy as hell that dinosaurs used to roam around the same places we do now?

The sheer size of these kunts,

The Argentinosaurus grew to over 40m long and weighed over 110 tonnes. It grew roughly 40kgs per day.

The tyrannosaurus rex had the best eye site out of any land living creature ever, better than birds. It could eat over 200kg of meat in one sitting.

Its sad as fck how they died out. A 10km size asteroid hitting near Mexico, vaporising everything within the area, the brightness melted eyes of what ever looked at it, the noise would have burst ear drums of anything in america, then kicking up so much dust that it blocked out the sun and rose the temperature of the earth to over 150 degrees Celsius. The plants couldn't get any sunlight and most died off. One asteroid literally killed 75% of everything on earth. I watched some simulations on YouTube and you'd be able to see the asteroid approaching a month out, and it just got bigger and bigger in the sky. Would have been insane

Its just so crazy to think that they lived over 120million years ago and we can still find fossils and sht of them. Imagine what fckn weird ass dinosaurs there were that didn't leave fossils behind or we havnt found yet. They think we only know roughly 5% of the types of dinosaurs that lived

More crazy that this planet we're on that's orbiting around a dying Sun used to not even be here. To think where you sit now, at some point in history was just vast space.

When I get baked I always think about random stuff like this. It is bizarre to think these massive animals used to roam around. What was the life span? To be that big you have to eat so much so how did they manage?

Probably the same way gorillas and cows work. Just crazy genetics/growth hormone that make them get that big. Although I'm sure they no doubt ate a lot as well.

T Rex's didn't have to eat for like a week after a kill and a feed of 200kg of flesh. The most complete skeleton of a t rex we have (Sue) was like 7kg and 90% muscle

They actuslly have a fossil of a velociprstor and ceratops fighting eachother. They died during a landslide and were still hooked into eachother

The asteroid that killed the dinosaurs was not even the worst extinction event in earth's history. The Permian extinction event that set up the emergence of the dinosaurs from earlier more primitive life was even more deadly, and was likely caused by massive volcanic activity in what is today Siberia. That extinction killed off over 90% of all marine life and over 70% of all terrestrial life on earth.
