I meal prep for the week, but it's not hard to make food the night of as long as you have every thing. Would take about half an hour to make a nice dinner every night, but that's really time I don't have. Much easier to pull out my food and hit the micro for a few minutes.

some people enjoy cooking and like fresh food
meal prepping the same food for 7 days straight is just depressing
assuming you aren't obsessing over your macros its not necessary. better to cook a meal every other day, and have some variation.

I’m mindful of my nutrition, but gone are the days of a week’s worth of prep. I might do 2 days max now, because I genuinely enjoy cooking and trying new dishes, spicing up old ones, etc.

So what happens when the microwave doesn't heat up your dinner properly, do you consume with a stone cold center or pop it back in for another 2 minutes and take the outer edges to full nuclear?
