What are your biggest stressors right now? srs
A lot of us are facing hardships. Anything from a physical or mental illness inflicting yourself or a loved one, to perhaps financial woes, or even something like obnoxious roommates and neighbors. Perhaps sharing our stressors can better put into perspective how burdening our individual stressors truly are.
I think my currently biggest stressors are:
- Watching time go away without much life experiences
- Investing/saving for a first time house/condo amidst the crazy real estate market (and general markets from an investment perspective) in current times
- Living up to expectations my managers and above may have upon me
- Determining how to think and approach with my current LTR with someone who is in it for the long haul (life) while being unsure of if I want that similar levels of commitment at my stage of life (26, living alone, career is pretty solid, decent physique, when to settle?)
- Feeling stagnant in career, no recent education or certifications in the last couple of years to help me feel confident for "leveling up"
They're all first world problems at the end of the day. Life is good when you look at it from that angle I suppose. What are the misc's current stressors?

Lol...
My father (who i am very close with) slowly being eaten away by inoperable cancer.
MIL living with my wife and I for the past 5-6 weeks after a major stroke, getting her back on her own in early-mid July but she will still need weekly help/attention from us. We will also be responsible for selling her property and managing her financial and medical needs from here on out.
Wife is closing in on 8 months preggers with our first child.
Sold and bought a house earlier this year.
Job still enforcing mask mandates for non-vaxmaxxxers.
Finances. We are doing fine and not living check to check or anything, but baby making and house purchases are expensive.
Last but not least - Misc is being killed off.
Life is peachy.

-How much longer I'll have the job I'm currently doing. Great money, but it's contract, then finding a job that's even close in income where I live.
-My parents situation....dad's in horrible health, mom is taking care of him, they're living off of his SS only, no other money AT ALL.
-Getting older
-Feel stagnant working from home....but make great money....but am not feeling fulfilled.
-There's other stuff, Im usually stressing about something....just cant think of right now.

I always have some stresser going on in my mind. At least typically. I might be on the upswing with my health, so i guess at this particular time having to much time to think on my self and only having fart jokes running through my mind. Typically I'm to tired and fatigued to have things to think on.

My 2 year cancer free [hopefully] scan is coming up in June.
Feeling incredibly stagnant at my job.
Have been living with my mom the last 4 months. Want to move but want to verify no more cancer and trying to find a different direction at work.

I feel like I relate to you pretty well op (srs)
Expectation from managers at work is my biggest stressor by far. I've stopped worrying about finding a long-term partner to settle down with (I'm 27 years old) though because I've decided it would be a fruitless relationship at my age - I definitely don't want to settle down until my 30s. Life is much more enjoyable being able to talk to/flirt with anyone I want without worrying about negative repercussions, wouldn't want to lock myself into that earlier than I need to unless there's some girl who is an absolute catch

1. Work sucks for me trying to keep decent help.
2. Trying to cope with the fact I chose to be tied down 100% my entire life. Left parents --> College and studied hard---> got girlfriend in college that I wife'd. After wedding started job. Now have kids. I 100% missed out on having a period of time in my life to just up and leave to go travel or do whatever I want with no one to answer to. I've been feeling like a miserable kunt locked into something I wasn't overly excited about(multiple kids before 30). I'm sure if I took a weekend with the boys I'd probably be fine and life would resume normally, but holy fuk life with small kiddos is a fuking grind and that coupled with work stress is an issue. My wife does well taking care of said kiddos but even her negativity about low sleep and the daily grind are eating my soul.
Thanks for making an outlet for my frustrations OP. Helpful to keep everything in perspective when you see other people's legitimate problems. I know I just need to consume a little humble pie and carry on, but for whatever reason since COVID stuff is ending it seems like there is a lot of negativity around everywhere and a lot of people I think are struggling to cope.

Let's see:
- Work provides a certain degree of manageable stress for me. Nothing too bad. I tend to be a high performer so I may be inclined to burn myself out.
- Internet/Social Media is a huge stressor right now and my GF tells me to just GTFO. There's no place for nuanced discussion. Everyone is ****ing whining about...SOMETHING and they tend to have a very myopic viewpoint of the world. Right now since I work from home I am not socializing as much so the internet is my social outlet. I could do better in terms of meeting up with friends and taking time off. I sometimes get into my own little world and not keep in touch with people.
- I tend to overthink in general so I get lost in my own thoughts and contemplate where I should be in life. Relationships, friendships, etc.
- Aging family sometimes worries me.
My coping mechanisms are working out and retail therapy.
