I got a $40.5k commission check coming tomorrow, what do I do with it misc

Sup misc, got the biggest monthly commission check I'll have made so far getting deposited into my account tomorrow. $40,562 to be exact, not even sure what to do with it lol. I also get paid my normal base bi-weekly base salary on top of it. For reference, I got no debt to pay off either so looking for expert ideas/advice from the misc on what to do

I'm in software sales and get a standard base salary plus uncapped commission. It various each month depending on how many deals I close/clients paying but average 5-20k on monthly commission checks so this is def the biggest I'll have gotten

ty. its low entry and high turnover when you start at the bottom and pay is trash to begin with. Usually start as a BDR and getting promoted from there, that was 3 years ago for now and crazy to think ill make more in 1 month than my 1st year salary back then lol (40k). Just got to be a hard worker, have a thick skin, some decent social skills and the rest takes care of itself if the company has good training in place

First of all, repped for being an HVM.

Secondly, I put almost 100% of my big commission checks into tech stocks.

elaborate on how you begin this career. That is an unimaginable amount of money to me. I'd say invest it if you want to own a vineyard or a farm when you retire at 40
