Just took out a loan of 350k (srs) heuehuehu



Just signed all my closing documents today, will get keys and take possession on Friday


when considering my down payment you already know I had to calculate how much it would take so my loan would be exactly tree fiddy for the misc


will probably make a proper thread on the house once I get it and have some good pics

2nd house I've owned now, but first I'll have a mortgage on. First house I bought for 112k cash and sold for 264k 5 years later (made a long thread on this back in the day)

Using some of the profit from that for the down payment on this one. I'm definitely buying out of my price range in that I'll have basically zero money left over each month after expenses, but housing prices here don't seem to be slowing down at all and if I wait any longer I'll simply be completely priced out. And have plenty of assets outside of this, so just biting the bullet and becoming a mortgagecel.

sold my last house because I had a 5 year plan to live there then sell it and upgrade. Saved some more money, started looking again, then covid hit. I thought, ah chit, surely a bunch of people will be losing their jobs, their houses will be foreclosed on, and then they'll be in an increase in supply and prices will come down, right??? So I decided to sit it out for awhile. Well, that didn't happen at all lmao. YOY prices here increased by 16% since last March.

My only regret is not starting to seriously look last year.
