cool things to do with ipad? (poverty reps itt)

so suddenly a family member just gave me a brand new ipad air (4th gen 2020) he got as a gift.
looks kinda cool but not sure what cool chit i can do with it. cant understand (at least for now) why would someone throw 500$ for this chit

what apps and games you recommend? i already got a small iphone but just use it for whatsapp

Get the Peloton app, get regular stationary bike, attach iPad to it and do the same cardio workouts the plebs get for a fraction of the price.

I ditched my laptop and moved only to my iPad Pro. Get the Apple mouse and a wireless keyboard and a stand for your iPad. Makes everything work related actually fun to do. Mostly just use mine for work or continuing education tasks. But also at night for YouTube or Hulu or whatever. Still amazes me how powerful yet thin these things are. Watch some YouTube’s on tips and tricks of iPads and you’ll start to learn how to use it for what you need

Use it as a secondary monitor, or you can trade up against the newer iPad Pro that’s coming out sometime in 2Q

A lot of people buy iPads these days and get the $200 magic keyboard attachment and use it as a quasi-laptop, but anyone who does serious work on the laptop knows iPadOS is just a glorified iOS and not a viable alternative to a real computer

They’re kind of a waste of money and more a cock tease for apple users who wish macs had touch screen capability

They're close enough to replace a laptop for most everyday users. Unless you work with certain creative/business software that you need a real computer for, it's more than enough for email, browsing, videos etc.

Also a great media consumption device. Basically an upgrade from a phone for miscing on the toilet.
