Honestly we need to bring back the firing squad for these types of people. Criminals are getting too comfortable and open with their behavior. They need some fear put in them that their actions are met with severe consequences. Crimes will drastically lower and prisons won't be overpopulated as they are with these scumbags who don't need to exist.
Obviously this will never happen, but it would make things better. The world becoming more progressive to the point where criminals are protected and given multiple chances to be allowed back on the streets to continue their life of crime is a terrible system

if a few black people moved to a nice white suburb the chances of them getting robbed by a white person is slim, now take a few white smove them to mostly black area the chances of them getting assaulted, or robbed is high.
