would you get dropped off in the middle of the
amazons with nothing but a knife and a lighter for 1 year for ten million dollars?

Build a house. Eat some fresh fruit. Kill a few animals here and there. Have a few marathon fap sessions to pass the time.
And in a year I got a mill tax free. Pretty fukkin easy tbh

No. That's a death sentence.
In my opinion just about the only place you could survive on Earth for that long with just a lighter and a knife would be a tropical Island/beach. And it would have to be an ideal location/set-up. Something with easily available fresh water. Fruit. Available seafood items for harvest (Turtles, fish, clams, seaweed, etc.)
In the Amazon you'd likely die from exposure or disease/illness within about 2 months. There might be tribesmen that live there. But they've been there for generations. And it literally takes a village. Its not one guy with a lighter and knife.
A lot of Europeans have died wandering around the Amazon looking for gold, lost cities, El Dorado, etc. And these people were well armed, well supplied, and had a ton of backing/resources.

10 million dollars?! That's not a lot of money. At least offer a hundred million!
